A MUM and her young child were sexually assaulted on their way home from school.
The woman and her seven-year-old daughter were followed by a man who allegedly tried touching both of them inappropriately in Coventry on Tuesday.
The horror incident took place in Knight Avenue, in the Stoke area of the city at around 3.30pm.
They managed to get to safety and called the police, CoventryLive reported.
West Midlands Police is investigating the incident.
