My petty neighbour hung banner outside her home branding me scum after row over fence – even after I met her demands | The Sun

A PETTY woman reignited a three-year feud over an old fence by scrawling cruel taunts on a bedsheet and hanging it out for her neighbour to see.

Fuming Yuk Lo took her next door Dr Rong Ji to court over two trees in his garden and a crumbling fence between their homes in Sydney, Australia.

It was ruled that a "new fence was needed between the homes" and that the pair of trees should be pulled down- with all costs to be split between the warring neighbours.

Dr Ji accepted the decision, but said he was waiting for another court date to foot his share of the bills, reports The Daily Telegraph.

But Ms Lo became furious while waiting for the payment and decided to take matters into her own hands.

She scribbled a scathing message on a bedsheet branding Dr Ji "scum" and tied it up outside her home amid her claims the trees are a "danger to her home", reports news.com.au.

Despite Dr Ji stomping up the cash, Ms Lo has stubbornly decided to keep the rude banner up.

It reads: "Attention (property address). Owner Dr Rong Ji.

“Plants trees close to neighbour’s sewer and electrical cable.

“Spent 4.23million to buy (property address) on 5/12/2021.

“But ignore court order to pay $412.5 on 7/10/2021 until 6/5/2022, seven months late.”

Dr Ji, however, has hit back and labelled Ms Lo's concerns a "fantasy".

He said: "That’s the fantasy, they think that they (the trees) damaged their house and cut in their power line or something like that, and lots of things."

According to court documents, a new fence “is the agreed outcome” but “a path to get there has not been found”.

Speaking to A Current Affair this week, Ms Lo said she would be leaving the sign up as her neighbour "hasn't paid stress compensation."

But at a previous hearing, Ms Lo's claim for stress was rejected.

Acting commissioner David Galwey said: "In support of this she filed statements and letters from a psychologist, doctor and the pastor of her church, all of whom referred to the ongoing dispute as the cause of her stress.
