A schoolboy is fighting for his life after being struck by a vehicle outside a busy tube station during rush hour.
The boy, believed to be 13, was struck near Stockwell Station at 7.42am this morning, Met Police confirmed. London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance have attended the scene.
The boy was taken to hospital in critical condition and his family have been notified.
Local road closures remain in place while emergency personnel investigate.

First responders were called to the scene of a road traffic collision outside Stockwell Station during the morning rush hour.
‘We sent an ambulance crew and an incident response officer to the scene. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance,’ a London Ambulance Service spokesperson told MailOnline.
‘We treated a child at the scene and took them to a major trauma centre as a priority.’
