BRITS have revealed three top tips for keeping cool during the ongoing heatwave as temperatures continue to sizzle.
The most common measures include splashing your face with cold water and taking a cold shower or bath.
Covering your wrist and neck with cold cloths also topped the list of recommendations.
Almost half of those surveyed said they even considered air conditioning for their homes, as heatwaves seemingly become more frequent in the UK.
According to the Daikin poll of 2,000 adults, only a quarter of Brits actually enjoy the hot weather, with four in ten confessing to moaning about the heat.
Meanwhile 30 per cent said they struggle in the sun, compared to just 18 per cent saying they thrive.

A further 44 per cent wear shorts and a T-shirt all year round.
Stephen Lang, a split and sky air specialist, commented on the poll saying: "Despite living in a cooler climate, it seems that when we do get blessed with warmer weather, Brits aren’t that thrilled about it."
