Urgent hunt for man after two women sexually assaulted within half an hour as cops release CCTV | The Sun

COPS have launched an urgent hunt for a man after two women were assaulted within half an hour of each other.

A 43-year-old woman was approached by an unknown man who "tried to touch her below the waist and grabbed her leg" in the broad-daylight attack.

Just half an hour later, around 1.30pm, a 22-year-old woman was also approached by a man who touched her bottom in Whitley Bay, Tyne and Wear in July.

Cops have now released CCTV images of a man they wish to speak to.

A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: "An investigation into the incidents has so far heard from witnesses and included a review of CCTV, but police are now looking to speak with a man who was in the area at the time and could have information."

The man, or anyone who recognises him, is urged to contact Northumbria Police via its website or by calling 101 quoting crime number 098790N/22.
