COPS are urgently hunting for a man after a woman was allegedly raped in a park.

The horror was said to have unfolded around 4.30am yesterday in Middlesborough's Cannon Park.


The woman in her 30s was said to have been attacked by a black man who she claimed spoke a foreign language and was wearing a blue tracksuit.

Cleveland Police are how urgently trying to find the alleged rapist.

The force said: "Police are investigating a report of rape on a woman in her thirties which took place in the early hours of Saturday September 30.

"The incident is reported to have taken place at around 4:30am at Cannon Park in Middlesbrough.

"The woman is currently being supported by specially trained police officers and enquiries continue to trace a male suspect who is described as a black male who spoke in a foreign language and was wearing a blue tracksuit.
