POLICE are hunting a man seen brandishing an axe following a road rage row.
Officers were called Bolton close to the Seven Acres nature reserve following the drama on Saturday at 12.45pm.
The suspect was reportedly seen wielding an axe after the row erupted.
Police are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
No further details have been released and it is not clear if anyone was injured.
GMP Bolton North said: "Officers in Bolton are looking for anyone who may have witnessed a road rage incident involving a male in possession of an axe.
"This occurred in the Thicketford Road area of Bolton near to Seven Acres at approximately 12:45pm on Saturday, September 17 2022.
"Officers are also interested in any dashcam footage capturing the incident. Please contact 101 quoting log 1486-17092022."
