LOCALS living in what has been dubbed one of the UK's filthiest estates say it stinks and they're being terrorised by swarms of flies.
The fuming Birmingham residents say a nearby sewage treatment plant is making their lives hell – seeing the annoying insects "invade" their homes.
Those living on Kelverley Grove, West Bromwich, say they're being haunted by the little critters, and dread the fast approach of summer.
They say the "speckled winged" bugs plague their homes – with parents worried about the safety of their youngsters due to hygiene concerns.
Some say they're even forced to keep their doors and windows tightly shut on hot days to stop the annoying creatures getting in.
About two miles from the estate is a Severn Trent Water treatment plant – which the locals blame for their troubles.

Robert Smith, who lives on Kelverley Grove, said the flies are "sylvicola fenestralis" – known as the window gnat.
He says the locals are feeling stuck as they plant is doing nothing to help with the bug problem.
Robert said: "The horrible and disgusting thing is we know where they are coming from and what they have been living upon.
"They look like a really menacing mosquito, with speckled wings, they only live on sewerage beds.

"On warm sunny days, we like to open our doors and windows, allowing some fresh air into our homes.
"But as the local sewerage plant are not treating the plant to kill these nuisance flies, all the surrounding residents in the area are having their homes invaded."
The local said once the winged menaces get inside they "annoyingly" slowly buzz around, adding: "They like to invade your fridges, freezers and cupboards, kitchen surfaces.
"They are all over the windows, on the inside and outside, and throughout the whole house, and more so if your windows have been opened."
His agitation and concerns were echoed by other residents.
Jagtar Singh, 31, said he's had to vacuum the critters off the walls after leaving his windows open one day.
The dad-of-two said he's now looking to shift from the area as he's concerned about hits tots.
He said: "They are one-year-old, my daughter was chasing one and I was like 'you can't eat that'. It is quite dirty when the flies land.
"Everybody on this road has been affected. We want to move, it's not nice."
Claire Waspe, 37, who has a young son, agreed.
The horrible and disgusting thing is we know where they are coming from and what they have been living upon.
She said: "We have a 14-month-old but we can't open the windows. They get everywhere."
Her father-in-law, David East, 77, has been forced to install fly nets in their conservatory.
The grandfather, who has lived there for 14 years, said: "When we first came, we were told it was next door, they had a big willow tree.
"Once they had the willow cut, the flies didn't come back (for a time). Then we heard it was because of a sewage farm."
Severn Trent Water said it was aware locals were worried about the plant, and that it was looking into their concerns.
A spokesperson said: "We’ve been made aware of some concerns from residents who live near to our sewage treatment works on Ray Hall Lane.
"We’re doing all we can to investigate the issue and proactively take measures to ensure flies aren’t drawn to our site.
"We’ll continue to be in close contact with residents who have been in touch with us about this issue."
It comes after residents of a town also claiming to be the country's smelliest told The Sun Online that the horrendous stench from a nearby landfill site is so bad they often can't even sit in their gardens.
It's not unusual for locals to be up in arms about odor ruining their lives.
