Woman, 45, charged with attempted murder after woman stabbed with bottle | The Sun

A WOMAN has been charged with attempted murder after another woman was found stabbed with a broken glass bottle.

Shelley Hill will appear at Leicester Magistrates’ Court today, after a woman was rushed to hospital on Friday evening.

The 45-year-old, of Manitoba Road, Leicester, has been charged with attempted murder following an altercation in Yeoman Street, Leicester.

Leicestershire Police and the East Midlands Ambulance Service were called to the scene just before 6.10pm.

The victim, also in her 40s, was rushed to hospital where she remains in a stable condition.

Detective Sergeant Nick Woodrow said: “We have carried out a number of enquiries but our investigation into this incident is still continuing.
