TWO people have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 71-year-old woman was found dead in her home in a "targeted" attack.
Emergency crews were scrambled to the house in Brent, North London, on Monday morning following a concern for welfare.
They tragically discovered the body of Susan Hawkey inside the property.
A murder investigation has now been launched with police probing the circumstances behind her death.
The Met Police fear Susan may have been "specifically targeted" in the horror.
A man, 22, and 27-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of murder, theft of a bank card and fraud.

Detective Chief Inspector Neil Rawlinson, the lead investigator, said: "The circumstances of this murder are particularly tragic.
"An elderly, vulnerable female appears to have specifically targeted. I am appealing to members of the public who may have known or recognise Susan, to come forward with any information that may assist in building a picture of her life.
"I also appeal to anyone with information who may be able to help in bringing the offenders of this horrific crime to justice to come forward."
