A WOMAN in her sixties has died after being pulled from the water at the Royal Albert Dock in Liverpool.
Emergency services scrambled to the historic dock at 7.15pm yesterday evening and took the woman to hospital.
She was pronounced dead at the hospital – with cops saying her death is not being treated as suspicious.
Merseyside Police said: "We can confirm that a woman who was rescued from the water at the Royal Albert Dock last night, Thursday 21st September has sadly passed away.
"Emergency services were called at 7.15pm and the woman, who is in her 60s, was taken to hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
"The woman’s next of kin have been informed. The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner."
