Claudia Winkleman, 50, candidly revealed how her “fantasy” dance would be a “three-way” samba with co-presenter Tess Daly and Musical Director Dave Arch. The Strictly Come Dancing star’s remarks preceded her recent flirty remarks towards Dave during the latest instalment.

Speaking in an interview ahead of Strictly’s return in September, Claudia discussed her ideal dance partners if she was to perform a routine.

Asked about the dance style and partner she’d pick for the performance, Claudia revealed: “An Argentine tango with Vincent Simone.

“But my main fantasy dance is a three-way samba with Tess and Dave Arch.

“I’m talking big feathered dresses and three of us doing samba rolls in unison.

“I’ll leave that image with you. Sorry if you feel nauseous.”

Claudia’s admission came before she jokingly said a flirty remark to Dave during last week’s show.

The TV star was announcing the upcoming performances to fans when she appeared to suggest she and Dave could join the mile-high club.

She said: “Still to come, Kym and Graziano are flying on Strictly Airways.

“If only there was a club that Dave Arch and I could join…”

However, Claudia is known for having a great sense of humour as she makes viewers laugh every Saturday night during the live show.

She is also married to film producer Kris Thykier, who is also 50 years old.

It isn’t known how long they have been together but they did marry at Marylebone Town Hall in June 2000 so it’s been more than two decades.

Kris has worked in the entertainment industry for several years and is remembered for his work on films like The Debt, Kick-Ass and Woman in Gold.

They share three children together, Jake, 19, Matilda, 16 and Arthur, 11.

Claudia rarely talks about her home life, preferring to keep that side of her away from the public eye.

But she did previously open up about life in lockdown, joking that she wasn’t sure “why or how” she and Kris were still together as she isn’t very domesticated.

She talked of his heritage having a part to play in why their marriage works as Kris has a Danish father and a Swedish mum.

She told The Sun: “Kris is very Danish in his ways. So, it’s not up to me to make dinner, it’s not up to me to make lunch and it’s not up to him to take the kids outside to play catch.

“In 20 years of marriage, he has not once asked me what’s for dinner.

“I married a feminist, my mother wouldn’t have let me not.”
