As the sun almost sets on yet another dramatic season of Love Island, the secrets of villa life continue to emerge.
Recently, Leah Taylor, one of the villa's recently dumped Islanders, has spilled the beans about a hilarious escapade involving her bombshell companion, Charlotte Sumner. After being dumped from the villa, Charlotte nearly found herself in hot water for an audacious shopping spree.
Leah, who shared a close friendship with Charlotte, divulged the details of the incident on her TikTok, letting fans in on what really happens when the cameras stop rolling. A curious fan asked: “Can you steal makeup and supplies when your leaving? Like what stops you from just filling your bag with products when you get dumped?”
According to Leah, the duo had an emotional farewell moment as Charlotte prepared to leave the villa. But as they were packing her case, they decided to take advantage of the well-stocked dressing room.
She said: “I have the funniest story to this one. Can you steal stuff when you’re dumped? The answer is I’m unsure, but when Charlotte was leaving, me and her were crying and having our moment.
“Then we suddenly decided to go shopping in the dressing room I’m not even lying we were stacking her case with all of these products, laughing our heads off at this point.”
Little did they know; their mischief didn't go unnoticed. A watchful producer caught them red-handed in the act. She added: “Someone was like, ‘Charlotte you now owe us £350,’ obviously it was just a joke but honestly we took so much stuff and just shoved it in her case. I don’t know if she even ended up taking it home.”
Leah revealed she wasn't quite as daring as her partner-in-crime, Charlotte. Leah was brutally dumped from the villa alongside Montel Mackenzie after they were voted the second least compatible couple by the public. However, as she prepared to leave the villa herself, Leah decided against taking anything despite the dressing room being stocked with “the best products ever”.
Since leaving the villa, Leah has also sparked rumours of an unaired feud between herself and fellow Love Island stars Ella Thomas and Whitney Adebayo after she failed to follow the pair on social media.
Following her and Montel's dramatic exit, Leah said that she had "mixed emotions" about leaving the villa, adding: "I wish we had a bit more time together in the Villa but overall it’s been such an amazing experience."
Talking about what is next for the couple, she added: "We’ve discussed the dates we want to go on because we never had one in the Villa. We have made a list, we are going to go on some nice dinners and then some more extravagant plans.
"We want to go skydiving and scuba diving, we both love an adventure so looking forward to all of that fun stuff."
