Blissful slumber?

Frankie Bridge divided opinion when she revealed on Loose Women that she allowed her sons Parker, eight, and Carter, seven, to sleep in her bed. She said she loves sleeping alongside them – and I'm totally with her on this one.

DJ often sleeps in my bed. If Ryan is here, she sleeps in her own bed, but every now and then I let her sleep between us. I love nothing more than having her snuggled up to me. She's my baby.

We must teach Black history

October is Black History Month and, apart from in Wales, it isn't currently on the National Curriculum. I think it's really important that black history is taught in schools. My daughter DJ, is mixed race and I try to have conversations with her about her race and racism.

I want her to know the history of her ancestors. It's difficult, because her dad, George Kay, was adopted by a white family and unfortunately didn't know much about his history. I think teaching it in schools would be brilliant.

Smash it Michelle

Michelle Heaton has reportedly signed up to the next series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins and I think she would be brilliant. I know Michelle well. She’s been through so much and has done well overcoming her demons to get sober.

It is a really difficult show to do but I know Michelle will absolutely smash it. I have complete faith in her.

Happy home

I posted a video on my YouTube channel last week about our house move. As you know, we moved here in the summer, but I’ve only just got around to sharing it. I gave a tour of the house, but I was really careful not to show anything which gives away where we are. It’s not worth the risk after our two burglaries. It’s a really safe house, and while I still suffer with anxiety over what happened, I’m definitely getting there.

I love it here, but we really want to get a holiday home in Spain. We’re still looking, but it’s been a very busy time. I can’t go out there for viewings at the moment as I’m working so much. I’ve been filming a show, I’m preparing to go on my book tour and then I’m straight into panto.

Lads' break for Ryan

It’s been a busy week of filming, but I’m almost finished. I can’t say much about it yet, but it’s been a crazy experience and I can’t wait for you to see it. I’m looking forward to getting home to the kids, though.

Ryan is in Ibiza on a lads’ trip, partying hard. He works hard and doesn’t often get away, so I’m glad he’s enjoying himself. He deserves it. I trust Ryan, he’s the most loyal man in the world. I’ve no problem with him being there. But I don’t know how he’ll feel when me and my bestie, Danielle, go. When he said he was going, I was straight on the phone to book a trip.
