Kerry Katona says Schofield fallout opened doors and slams false TV industry

Phillip Schofield and Kerry Katona on This Morning in 2008

Kerry Katona has said the recent allegations against BBC presenter Huw Edwards and Phillip Schofield’s recent departure from ITV, will have “opened the door to getting more people talking”.

The columnist did not hold back when she shared her thoughts on the entertainment industry which has been under scrutiny in recent years.

It comes after Huw Edwards’ wife named him as the BBC presenter at the centre of the scandal over allegations of payments for sexually explicit images in a statement issued on his behalf.

Back in May, Phillip Schofield quit This Morning and just days later admitted to lying to colleagues about having an affair with a young male runner.
