Kevin Costner assisted by melon-carrying burly bodyguard amid divorce battle

Kevin Costner appeared stern as he stepped out in Colorado.

The Yellowstone star looked downcast as he walked alongside his burly bodyguard in Aspen.

Costner is seen in pictures obtained by Express.co.uk amid his “messy” divorce with estranged wife Christine Baumgartner.

The 68-year-old wore white pants and a black fleece for his dressed-down appearance, running errands as his security helped with his shopping.

His towering team member walked close by as he carried Costner’s fruity purchases, thought to be two extremely popular cantaloupe melons.

It comes after news that Christine had finally moved out of Kevin’s $145million mansion on his sprawling estate in Santa Barbara.

The former couple lived in the sizable compound with their three kids, Cayden, 16, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 13, throughout their collapsed 18-year marriage.

Despite her eventual exit, sources now claim her departure is merely a “temporary solution”.

It’s not year clear where Christine will be living, but insiders claim she could be moving into nearby “staff quarters” while she looks for a new home.

“Christine is following the legal advice per the prenup and is vacating the family house,” a source told PEOPLE.

They added: “She will stay at a smaller house on the property that’s been used as a staff quarter.”

“This is a temporary solution,” the insider adds. “She is still looking for another house. She is staying in the area to not disrupt the kids’ lives.

“They will be back at school in the fall with their friends. Christine is trying to keep everything as normal as possible. Her sole focus is the kids.”

Express.co.uk contacted Kevin and Christine’s representatives for comment.
