Hundreds of people have been praising the dupes online, sparking a frenzy in the bakery aisles of the supermarket chain.

The popular Metro Rolls are giving Subway a run for their money according to self-proclaimed bread connoisseurs.

Many have claimed they can barely tell the difference between a Subway roll and the affordable and appetising Aldi dupes.
