Lauren Goodger flooded with support from celeb pals after death of newborn daughter Lorena

Lauren Goodger's celebrity pals have rallied around to support the star and share condolences after she announced the death of her newborn baby on Instagram.

The heartbreaking post shows Lauren holding her newborn baby's tiny hand and in the caption, the former TOWIE star told fans she feels "broken".

Lauren, 35, described her newborn, named Lorena, as "the most beautiful healthy baby" she'd ever seen, and added that "words can't describe" what she is going through.

She wrote: "Lorena R.I.P 08.07.22 she was the most beautiful healthy baby I’ve ever seen just like her sister @babylarose.x … words can’t describe as a mother losing your baby that I carried for all these months perfectly and gave birth too for my angel to be taken from me.

"There was no pregnancy or labour complications and she was fine & healthy but I am not going into detail right now just know that there was nothing wrong with her or myself she was perfect I can’t understand it she is so so beautiful Larose twin so similar.. I am broken.

"I am back home from hospital Me & Charlie spent as much time with our baby girl Lorena and I haven’t said my goodbye yet.

"Please can I ask photographers to respect our privacy right now as we have a lot of grieving to do and funeral organising that I just need this time & with my baby girl Larose she is my rock that’s getting me through this or I wouldn’t survive…

"I will never ever get over this but I will learn how to live everyday with Lorena in my heart she will be with me always and I will be with her again one day … My Lorena I love you so much"

Just minutes after Lauren shared the post, stars began sharing support in the comments.

Love Island's Malin Andersson, whose own daughter Consy died when she was just four weeks old in January 2019, wrote: "Sending you so much love strength and positive energy.

"Here if you ever need to talk. Take your time.. you are so loved."

Charlotte Crosby commented on her post saying "Lauren F***ing hell I’m devastated", as her Geordie Shore co-star Vicky Pattinson wrote: "Awww Lauren, I'm honestly so heartbroken for you… sending you all so move love."

Singer Lydia Lucy wrote "I’m so sorry Lauren" with a broken heart emoji, while makeup artist Lyndsey Harrison wrote: "Oh Lauren, this is beyond devastating."

Makeup artist Natasha Sandhu wrote: "I am so so heart broken for you, I’m so sorry. it hurts reading this I can’t even begin to imagine how you are feeling, sending you so so much love and prayers and strength"

Model Casey Batchelor said "Sending you so much love", while Lauryn Goodman said: "Devastated for you and the family. Can’t even begin to imagine. Stay strong. Love you so much."

Lorena was little sister to Larose, who is just 11 months old.

Back in January, Lauren excitedly announced her pregnancy in new! magazine.

At the time, she and Charles had briefly split but the couple later got back together and her partner has been at her side through what has been a sometimes difficult few months.

Being a mum to baby Larose while expecting wasn't easy and Lauren was recently left 'crying every day' as she counted down to her due date.
