MAFS Australia star Ella Ding to join Made In Chelsea in unexpected crossover

Married At First Sight Australia star Ella Ding is set to join the cast of Made in Chelsea this Autumn in an unexpected crossover.

The news was announced on the official E4 Made in Chelsea Instagram as they posted some snaps of the 28 year old beautician posing next to a Chelsea street sign in London.

Ella was dressed in a black skirt and a white crop top with a dark green blazer and trainers to complete the look and her dark hair fell past her shoulders as she beamed at the camera.

Alongside the snaps, E4 wrote: "The sun may have set on Mallorca but there’s a new ray of sunshine coming to Chelsea this autumn."

People flocked to the comments section to have their say on the news, and one person wrote: "I am so excited for this!!!"

Another person commented: "NO WAY!!!!!!!! This is tooo MAD! Letssss goooooo girlie".

A third person wrote: "OMG!!!!! This is the best news ever!!! @ellamayding is an icon".

Ella herself took to her Instagram stories on Saturday morning to address the news as she said: "I've woken up this morning to a lot of DMs. Obviously the cat is out of the bag to why I've been in London.

"So I will be appearing on the next season of Made in Chelsea".

She continued: "Very unexpected turn of events I guess. Pretty crazy experience and story.

"I don't really know what I can and can't say right now but the cat's out of the bag – I will be on Made in Chelsea and I think it comes out next month so I guess you have to tune in to see how little old Ella goes".

She ended it asking her fans to "wish me luck, because I might need it".

Ella shot to fame when she starred on Married At First Sight, which sees strangers being paired together by relationship experts and the first time they lay eyes on each other is when they get married.

Ella was matched with model Mitch Eynaud and whilst the pair shared a great chemistry, they split shortly after attending the MAFSA reunion party in January.

A source told the Daily Mail that some of their problems came from Ella wanting to "flaunt their romance" but that Mitch was much more private.

The source said: "Mitch is low-key and wanted to keep their relationship private, even though they met on a TV show,' said the source from Mitch's camp."

'Ella was all about putting it out there. She wanted to milk it and didn't care about being photographed, but Mitch wasn't about that.'

Before arriving in London to star filming for Made in Chelsea, Ella enjoyed an extended break in Italy with her fellow MAFSA co-star Domenica Calarco.
