Cleaning guru Mrs Hinch has lifted the lid on the “traumatising” experience of flying with her sons whose “screaming” woke up a fellow air passenger.

The social media sensation, whose real name is Sophie Hinchliffe, 33, detailed the “hellish” flight ordeal that almost left her in tears. Alongside husband Jamie, she whisked her sons Ronnie, four, and Lennie, two, away for a summer holiday.

As anyone who has ever flown with children will know, it can be a nerve wracking experience. For Mrs Hinch, her worst fears came to be – with one passenger ensuring she knew as much.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, the popular influencer posted a photo of her little boys in their plane seat, with a comment from a follower in the top corner. The fan said when they holidayed with their own young children, the flight was “hell”, going on to say Sophie was “normalising parenting” for legions of others.

Upon arriving at their holiday destination, Mrs Hinch said: “The boys were like… Hell. Bless them. Absolute Hell”. Expanding on this for her 4.7 million Instagram followers, she referenced the comment from the fan and explained: “My whole inbox right now. Please know you're not alone when flying with children. We had some lovely passengers around who played peekaboo with them and were so helpful.'

“But one passenger turned around and looked at me and the kids like we were an absolute disgrace. (I think the boys woke her up).

“I literally wanted to burst into tears. But what can you do when the seatbelt sign is on and you have to keep two toddlers sat in a chair, they didn't want any toys just wanted to run.”

She added: “I've never heard screams like it. I was dripping with sweat by the end of the three hour flight!”

The star had a suggestion for fellow passengers who may be on a “family type flight who want silence from all kids”, advising them they should be “taking earplugs maybe”.

The Essex-born social media star, who counts Stacey Solomon as a friend, went away with her family after recently issuing an update on son Ronnie’s recent health scare.

She revealed his recent heart scans came back all clear after being diagnosed with a rare condition called Kawasaki disease.

The mum of two – who shot to mega fame on the hit social media platform Instagram by sharing her top cleaning tips and hacks – rushed little Ronnie to hospital last month after his temperature soared to over 40 degrees.

Soon after, her son was diagnosed with the disease which affects children under the age of five. A temperature along with other symptoms including swollen glands, dry red cracked lips and a rash are all warning signs of the condition.

On Sunday (16 July), the social media star posted a picture of her two boys as they held up signs displaying the message, 'Time to catch our flight. Goodbye everyone'.

Sophie captioned the post "And we're off. We have had the most amazing results from Ronnie's most recent heart scans guys…. they are all clear."
