Nina Dobrev Reveals If She Would Do a ‘Vampire Diaries’ Reboot Or Another Vampire Project

Nina Dobrev is dishing on the possibility of a The Vampire Diaries reboot.

The 34-year-old actress has been out promoting her new Netflix movie The Out-Laws, and in an interview, she was asked if she would return to the popular series if it came back, or if she would do anything vampire related again.

Check out what she said inside…

“Oh my goodness. I think it’s way too soon to be talking about a reboot because the show didn’t even end that long ago, but I mean I know that I am very close with Paul [Wesley] and Kayla [Ewell] and Candice [King] and Kat [Graham] and the list goes on because, you know, it was such a big part of our lives for so many years. It’s hard to not stay in touch with everybody and see them when we can,” Nina shared on SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show.

“I don’t know. I mean, I think it always depends on the role and the director,” she added on if she would do anything vampire related. “I don’t want to say never because if Steven Spielberg is directing or if Martin Scorsese has a vampire flick coming up and there’s a great role that will challenge me in some way, maybe, so I guess, yeah. Steven, call me. Martin, let me know.”

Yes, Nina, shoot your shot!

The actress also talked about the fame from being on the show and what it was like being on it.

“I mean, nothing can prepare you for the thousands of people at Comic-Con that are so passionate and excited,” she said. “It was just, you know, it was a really cool experience and being on that show taught me so much and as I was learning about myself, I was growing up sort of in the public eye but also in Atlanta which is really cool because at Comic-Con people were screaming our names, but once we got back to Atlanta where we lived and shot the show, nobody cared, so it was great to be able to live a somewhat normal-ish life when we weren’t working.”

If you missed it, Paul Wesley also recently opened up about the possibility of reprising his TVD character or doing another vampire related project.
