Olly Murs dresses as footballer Jack Grealish on stag do and fans are obsessed

The world of music and football collided when former X Factor star Olly Murs dressed as footballing superstarJack Grealish.

Olly, 39, is due to marry his fiancée, Amelia Tank, very soon, and as is tradition for the groom, he's headed off on a stag do with his mates.

The Heart Skips a Beat singer took to Instagram to post some snaps of himself on a train as he dressed up as footballer, Jack, 27, who has been doing some partying of his own, after Manchester City secured their third successive title triumph on 21 May, with a 1-0 victory over Chelsea.

Olly donned a blue Manchester City football shirt with matching white shorts, and he had his long hair pushed back with a headband – which is a trademark look of Jack's.

A multicoloured satchel bag hung around Olly's neck and he cheekily held his two middle fingers up to the camera and flashed a smile.

Given that Olly is an avid supporter of Manchester United, it seems that his dressing up in a Manchester City kit could be his friends' idea of a joke.

He also posted a snap of his tensed calves and blue football socks, and sipped on a cold beer in another.

Olly captioned the post: " Oh f#%k!! The Essex Jack Grealish is on his stag!! Wish me luck been nice knowing you all."

His fans were quick to comment, as one wrote: "Good luck mr murs," whilst another said: "Love it have an amazing time."

A third commented: "Fellow stags – step away from the hair and eyebrows please ! Have a good time @ollymurs x," as a fourth wrote: "Have a great time!!! Can’t wait to see the pictures."

Rapper Professor Green, real name Stephen Manderson, added a number of laughing and heart emojis.

Olly previously opened up about his stag do plans, as he said that it will be a traditional night out with his pals.

His fiancée, Amelia, however, laid down one strict ground rule: No hair removal.

Olly told The Sun: “Amelia said they’re not allowed to shave any part of my body, especially my hair.

“She said she loves the way I look and told me not to change it."

He continued to say it'll be a small stag do, with only about seven people going and most of the guests being friends he'd known for over 20 years.

Despite there inevitably being quite a few beverages consumed on the stag do, Olly said that he doesn't want to not be able to remember any of it.

He said: “All I said to my best man was, ‘I don’t want to not be able to remember what an amazing stag do this was’."

Back in December, Olly accidentally let slip that the wedding would be taking place in "June or July" of 2023, During an appearance Graham Norton's popular talk show.

He said: “It will be next summer, around June or July.”

Referring to his fiancée Amelia Tank, he added: “she’ll kill me for telling you” suggesting this was perhaps secret information the singer should have remained tight-lipped about.
