Peter Andre raised eyebrows recently as he appeared to hint at the possibility of having more children with his wife Emily, sharing that the pair have had 'conversations' about expanding their brood.

The singer has now revealed to OK! that it is something that could be on the cards, admitting that he can't make up his mind on the matter. Already a doting dad, he shares elder children Junior, 18, and Princess, 16, with ex-wife Katie Price, and is also dad to Amelia, nine, and Theo, six, from his current relationship with Emily.

Writing in his exclusive weekly column, Pete explains: "There have been headlines about me not closing off the idea of becoming a dad again. But to be honest, Emily and I change our minds every five minutes, so who knows?

"I said I wouldn’t have more kids after I hit 50, but then Covid happened," added the Mysterious Girl hitmaker – who turned 50 back in February.

Pete initially sparked speculation that he's keen to be a dad again during an appearance on Vicky Pattison's podcast The Secret To, where she quizzed him on the matter.

He candidly admitted: "Children… I was like, when I get to 50 I'm done and then I find myself having conversations with Em going, 'Yeah you know, if we did have another child, where would we put Junior?'"

Adding: "I can't even believe we have those conversations and that makes me think that I just don't know, it's just one of those things. It's just weird that we even have those conversations, so I don't know."

Given his uncertainty about the subject, host Vicky suggested that perhaps Pete wasn’t quite ready to rule it out at this stage, prompting the doting dad to reveal: "Listen, us guys can wishful think all we like, right, but it's going to be up to her.”

While he may be looking to expand the family, there is no question that Pete already has his hands full with his four children. Talking on the same podcast, he admitted to issuing a 'stern warning' to 18-year-old son Junior as he jetted off to celebrate his milestone birthday in Ibiza.

Recalling taking his son to the airport ahead of the holiday, Peter said: "I remembered what I was like at 18. And I was like, you know what? He’s gonna have the time of his life. He’s sensible enough to know. He’s gonna drink, he’s gonna have fun.

"But I just said to him, my exact words to him were: 'What do you think I'm going to say to you? He said: 'Yes, Dad, stay away from the drugs'. I said: 'That's all I'm saying to you. That's it.'"

Further explaining the situation in his column, Pete shared: "It’s a bittersweet time because I’m so proud of the man he’s becoming, but it also means he’s legally an adult. And that means that although he’s the man of the house when I’m not there, he can also go to clubs, he can drink… do I need to go on?

"It’s scary but I know I need to let go eventually as it’s a natural part of life. Junior is so respectful and knows the rules we teach him. He should have fun – but I just hope he’s sensible."
