Former Strictly Come Dancing star Ore Oduba, 36, and his wife Portia Oduba, 32, share two children together, four-year-old son Roman and their eight-month-old daughter Genie. The presenter’s other half took to social media and shared a series of photos while in A&E with their youngest child.
Alongside the photos, the presenter’s wife explained why she had been “missing in action” over the past few days as she nursed her baby girl.
In a candid Instagram post, Portia urged parents to “follow their gut” as she addressed her baby’s health “scare”.
In view of her 50,800 followers, she shared a black and white snap of herself cradling Genie whose hand was wrapped in a bandage.
Portia captioned the picture: “I’ve been MIA for a few days… We had to take a visit to A&E whilst in Kent over the weekend.
“Our little lady gave us a bit of a scare but is a lot better and is bouncing back.”
Another photo showed a forlorn-looking Portia holding her baby girl in her arms while at the hospital.
She penned: “Just a little reminder to yourself to always trust your gut… you know your baby better than anyone else and if you feel if something isn’t right or they aren’t themselves, act on it. You will never be turned away… thank you NHS.”
A third photo showed the mum and daughter in much higher spirits following their emergency dash to the hospital.
Portia said: “24 hours later and little lady was on the mend and we were home with smiles.
“Thank you to all the amazing doctors and nurses at Tunbridge Wells Hospital. You are incredible.”
Earlier this year, Ore admitted welcoming a newborn baby while juggling his hectic work schedule and the adjustments in his family life left him feeling overwhelmed as he detailed his recent panic attack.
The TV presenter opened up on his first panic attack, which occurred the day before a previous Loose Women appearance in November.

The ordeal came just five weeks after welcoming his second child with his wife Portia.
Joining the Loose Women panel, Ore discussed how the “seismic change” in his life had an impact on his mental health.
In a joint interview with his wife on the ITV programme, the Strictly winner said how he was quickly forced to tell his wife the truth about his attack as he knew he’ll likely discuss mental health on the show’s Loose Men special the following day.
He said: “That was the first one I had the attack literally the day before I was on the show, I only told Portia because I was going to be on national television the next day and there was a very good chance we were going to talk about mental health and the fact that only 24 hours ago I had this panic attack.
“And the last thing you want is your wife to find out about you having a bit of trouble on air, so I thought it was definitely something we should chat about.
“I’m so glad that we did, that we chatted about it between us and then to have the platform that is Loose Women and be broadcasting it on ITV… the reaction, the support from everybody is so overwhelming.”
Ore and his wife Portia tied the knot in 2015 after the couple is said to have first laid eyes on each other way back in 2010 after they met at an event at Loughborough University where he studied.
Speaking about his wife, Ore told Hello: “She keeps me grounded. She’s my choreographer, stylist, physiotherapist as well as wife.”
