Fashionista shares three easy ways you can transform long-sleeve tops into a cute summery look – & it takes just seconds | The Sun

A SAVVY fashion fan has revealed how you can turn your boring long-sleeve tops into stylish summery garments in just seconds – and there's no sewing involved.

Style pro Carolina Freixa took to Instagram to offer a helping hand to fellow fashionistas with three simple tips – and they're bound to give your wardrobe a whole new look.

According to the blonde stunner, there are three ways you can wear a long-sleeve top during summer – and you'd never guess the original design.

The first one, she demonstrated in her video, was a flattering square-neck top with wide straps she had made from the sleeves.

For this, simply put on the top as normal, leaving the arms hanging on both sides and start by twisting them around your shoulder.

Once done, secure it around the armpit area and adjust where necessary.

Carolina, who shared the fashion hacks on her Instagram page, also demonstrated a second trick for the same top, this time a little halterneck number.

She started by squeezing into the garment, again leaving the arms hanging, and tying both sleeves around her neck.

All chuffed, the savvy fashionista also adjusted the plunging neckline for a more flattering look.

Last but not least, the final look – a high-neck halter top, which was achieved by turning the top upside down and tying the bottom part around your neck.

The two sleeves, Carolina demonstrated, are then tied around your waist in a stylish bow.

However, despite looking glam, the feedback was mixed, as people raced to comments to share their thoughts.

One, for instance, reckoned: ''Cute, but you ruin those shirts. Stretching out the sleeves, I would just buy tops like that.''

A second penned: ''Imagine those ties opening up in the 3rd one.''

Someone else, meanwhile, wondered: ''why is everyone mad?? these are really good hacks.''

A fourth chimed in: ''I think it’s perfect if you can’t afford to buy multiple tops, or if you’re traveling and can’t pack that much, or even if you just want to be more sustainable and stop contributing to the mounds and mounds of material waste we already have.''
