I cleared the shelves of Sainsbury’s £1 babywear nabbing 33 sleepsuits & loads more… but I did it for such a good reason | The Sun

A WOMAN has been praised online for clearing the shelves of £1 babywear in Sainsbury's.

Most people go into a fury when they see someone practically clear the shelves of a bargain item, but not today as one woman revealed the very good reason she did.

Posting to the Facebook group, Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, Jade Marie revealed she couldn't resist the bargains when she saw them in store.

But the money-saving whizz didn't buy them for herself and instead had thought of a much better plan for the premature baby clothes.

Jade revealed that she bought 33 sleep suites, 6 outfits and 3 little vests all for £1 each – which she showed in an image.

Along with the image, the young woman explained why she decided to buy so many premature outfits.

She said: "So in Sainsbury's they had premature baby clothes for £1.

"So I phoned our local hospital to check they would accept the clothing and they said yes so we brought a selection to drop of this week so the beautiful little babies have a little something to wear.

"So we got 33 sleep suites 6 outfits and 3 little vests, there was still stock left for anyone looking for premature bits."

The woman's post soon went viral and received over 17,000 likes from group members.
