I jetted to Turkey for a £4k mummy makeover after 5 kids – I was left with a holey body and docs blamed my smoking habit | The Sun

WHEN Stephanie Frampton saw an ad for a mummy makeover in Turkey on Facebook, she thought it would be the perfect solution to rejuvenate her figure after five children.

But £3,750 and ten rounds of antibiotics later, the 61-year-old is convinced surgeons cut out her bellybutton and stuck it back in the wrong place.

Stephanie went under the knife for seven hours for a breast lift, tummy tuck and liposuction – the staple operations of a mummy makeover.

She claims the op was botched and has been left with nothing but regret since inquiring about the social media ad.

The mum-of-five from Gosport, Hampshire had the procedure in December and said problems started from the moment it was completed.

She says she left Turkey with "two massive holes" and a scabby scar across her stomach.

"I was left with holes in my skin – under my boobs and along my tummy tuck scar," she says.

"I'm sure my bellybutton is upside down because I have a hole from where I had it pierced, which is now in a different position."

Stephanie also believes her nipples were removed during the procedure, adding that her "body looks even worse than it did before".

She claims the rogue surgeons have blamed her life-threatening results on her being a smoker.

"I know smoking isn't good for you, but I don't believe it can't be blamed for this," she says.

The mum had her first child aged 19 and "always felt embarrassed" by her body since then, particularly towards the "saggy skin" on her stomach.

"I'd never had anything like this done before, so I was a little bit nervous, but I was excited to see my results," she says.

"Around 11 days after my surgery, I was at home, and I felt something wet underneath my right boob.

"I got a mirror to have a look and realised the wound was open and saw what looked like a hole. I then looked under my left boob, and it was similar."

Stephanie immediately contacted her GP who saw her straight away, and she had to regularly go back to have the wounds cleaned and redressed.

However, the "holes" under her boobs still wouldn't heal and she decided to check herself in to hospital.

"I was really embarrassed about what I had done to myself, and they were really shocked to see the state I was in," she says.

"The scar from my tummy tucked had scabbed over, and they weren't too concerned about this until they removed the scab and two massive holes in my body were revealed."

Stephanie says that she was in constant pain and couldn't stop crying.

After meeting with surgeons in the UK discuss rectifying the surgery, she was told there was nothing that they could do.

This was because her skin was so stretched from her mummy makeover.

She has been on ten lots of antibiotics to treat the infections it caused.

"Eventually, my skin did meet again over the holes," Stephanie says. "However, it has taken so long and there are dips in my skin and it's so uneven.

"I don't look attractive at all. I am always in pain – my back kills me from where I had liposuction.
