I spent £60 on Amazon returns and all I got was ‘tat’ including a car indicator – people say I’ve been scammed | The Sun

A SAVVY shopper has revealed that she spent £60 on a huge bag of Amazon return parcels.

Becky Chorlton, a thrifter and owner of ‘Becky’s Bazaar’ – a second-hand business reselling vintage garments – revealed that she got loads of cool stuff in her Amazon returns packages – but people have hailed her items as ‘tat’ and are convinced she’s been ‘scammed’.

Showing off her cheap buys on social media, Becky explained: “I spent £60 on Amazon return parcels and here’s how it went.

“First up, we arrived at this random warehouse and this guy took us to the storage unit, pulled out a load of parcels and we went through and chose the best looking ones.

“Let’s open some and find out if I’ve been scammed.

“I spent £60 so I think each parcel worked out at £1-£2 each.”

She added: “In the first one we ended up with this scary looking mask, and this super cute sequin to piece set.

“In the next parcel we got this blanket thing, I don’t actually know what it is. And this cute little phone case.

“We also got a car indicator – which is so random.

Becky then asked: “Was it worth it or did we get scammed?”

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @beckysbazaar, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as at the time of writing, it had quickly amassed 39,800 views.

But social media users were left divided at the clip – while some were impressed with Becky’s items, not everyone was as keen.

One person said: “Yes worth it.”

Another added: “This is my dream.”

Meanwhile, many were not convinced by Becky’s return items and many thought she had been ‘scammed’.

One user penned: “A load of c**p then.”

A second chimed in: “Load of tat.”

A third wrote: “Don't think so, all rubbish.”

Whilst someone else simply put: “Scammed.”
