WITH energy bills soaring, many savvy people are getting creative when it comes to saving money.

One mum revealed how she turned her baby’s old cot into an air dryer to go over her stairs in order to save money on her tumble dryer bill.

Taking to Facebook, the thrifty mum showed how she put the cot’s sides over the stairs, so she could hang washing from the bars. 

She explained: “Used my baby's old cot, cable ties and piece of wood.

“This is over my stairs, saves me using the tumble dryer during winter.”

Her post has racked up thousands of likes, and many people praised the idea.
