I was horrified when a Morrisons driver tracked me down on Facebook, messaged me and started trawling through my photos | The Sun

A BEAUTICIAN claims a Morrisons delivery driver tracked her down on Facebook hours after dropping off her shopping.

Molly, 28, says the worker trawled through and liked a string of her photos until she realised who he was and blocked him.

She complained to the supermarket about the man's "scary" approach but alleges they didn't initially take her concerns seriously.

Molly, who did not want to give her surname, later raised the matter with Ocado, who deliver for Morrisons, and both companies have now promised to investigate.

The beautician, from Northfield, Birmingham, has been left shaken by the experience last month.

She said: "When he delivered the shopping he was pleasant, absolutely fine and said thanks for shopping with us.

But six hours later Molly said she was horrified to discover the driver had apparently tracked her down on Facebook.

He sent her a personal message and had seemingly been looking through her pictures.

"He delivered the shopping to me and then later looked up my name on social media and tried to message me," she said.

"He just said 'Hi' then started liking photographs of me on my Facebook page, which to me insinuates something else.

"I live on my own, I'm a young lady. It is really scary."

Molly said she phoned Morrisons but the person she spoke to "seemed disinterested" so she did some digging of her own.

She said she discovered the driver also works part-time as a cabbie, which scared her even more.

"I thought, 'if you're doing that with me, what are you doing with the girls in your car?'," Molly added.

I told Morrisons I was deeply disgusted that they were not doing anything about this.

"I just felt that Morrisons didn't take it seriously at all.

"For him to take my name from my order and look me up on social media and contact me and like photographs of me – it's just unreal.

"But it's really scary that Morrisons didn't take it as seriously as I thought they should after I sent them copies of the messages.

"They didn't even apologise and just said 'it isn't really a customer service problem and blamed the depot, which Ocado uses."

Ocado were apparently "really good" about the situation – unlike Morrisons who "couldn't give a c**p" – but advised there was little to be done as the order was placed through the latter.

Molly added: "It's the first time that I have ever ordered from Morrisons.

"I told them I was deeply disgusted that they were not doing anything about this."

A spokesperson for Ocado added: "We are aware of this complaint and in the process of conducting an investigation."
