I’m a 5ft 1ins teen mum and my 18-month baby is nearly as tall as me – she towers over all her mates, it’s mad | The Sun

THIS gigantic toddler is almost as tall as her mother at just 18 months old and is growing so fast that she needs new shoes every month.

Magnolia, from Arkansas, US, is one and a half years old, and she already towers above her sister who's double her age.

The young tot stands at 3ft tall and weighs more than every baby who goes to the same doctor as her.

Stay-at-home mum Clara Thomas, 19, is only 5ft1, while Magnolia's father, Arthur Thomas, is 6ft.

When their little girl kept growing and growing, Clara and Arthur admitted they were blown away.

According to doctors, Magnolia is on track to be very tall and is in the 99 percentile of children her age for both weight and height, making her the biggest toddler they have on their books.

Clara said: "Magnolia has been the same weight and clothes size since she turned one, so we almost never have to buy her new clothes.

“Her and her three-year-old sister can even share clothes.

"Shoes on the other hand? We need to buy a new size every month, it feels like.

"Her doctor says she’s growing exactly where Magnolia needs to be.
