Amanda Holden slammed over snowflake remark after BGT comedian booed

BGT: Amanda Holden calls out snowflakes

Amanda Holden’s comment sparked a backlash from Britain’s Got Talent viewers after she hit back at “snowflakes” who may be offended by comedian Markus Birdman’s jokes.

After Simon Cowell pressed his buzzer for the comedian, Amanda slammed her co-star and some of the audience members who appeared to boo at Markus’ performance.

She told him: “For all the snowflakes and all the wokery and everything else that’s out there, I applaud you because this is the way forward, not the other way.”

“It’s an iconic comedy venue,” Ant McPartin said to Markus afterward. “You’ve never played her before, have you?”

“No, never,” he replied. “It’s beautiful to play here, thank you so much.”
