I’m a charity shop champion & decorated using items from Facebook Marketplace – I even got a posh lamp for £100 cheaper | The Sun

A THRIFTING guru has shown off how furnished her entire home using only items that she nabbed from Facebook Marketplace.

Becky is a pre-loved aficionado who regularly shares her hauls and savvy purchases with the 180k followers on her TikTok account @BeckysBazaar.

And in a recent clip, she filmed the gorgeous makeover she gave her new studio flat using stunning pieces that she’d purchased second hand.

“First up, I absolutely love this modular sofa for £200,” the savvy shopper began.

A modular sofa is a style made up from lots of individual segments that can be rearranged in different configurations to suit any living space.

Becky picked one up in a stunning navy blue shade, the perfect statement piece to give the room a pop of colour.

I was tired of my depressing pantry – my easy Target upgrade made it much better

“Some of the seams were a bit damaged,” she explained, “but we just sewed them up and it was as good as new.”

She even split apart both ends to create enough seating to fill two of her new flat’s rooms.

“Next up,” Becky continued, “I’ve always wanted one of these smiley face lamps”, while showing off a snap of one of the huge emoji-styled statement pieces.

“They’re originally £130,” she explains, “so when I saw this one for £35, I knew I had to have it.”

Her next buy was a vintage step ladder that came with just a £10 price tag, “which fit perfectly in the corner for plants and trinkets and things”.

And Becky also nabbed a gorgeous rug, which was advertised for £40 but she actually managed to bag for just £20.

“I love the way the colours sort of match the couch and the yellow decor,” the thrifting whizz gushed.

“It’s definitely not finished yet,” Becky confessed while showing off the result so far, “but we managed to furnish this room for £265.”

Her clip racked up nearly 70k views within a day, with TikTokers gushing over her fab bargain buys.

“We never buy new,” one follower agreed. “Renovated a whole house beautifully with FB Marketplace.”

“The sofa is fire,” another wrote. “Looks better in reality than the photo.”

“That’s fabulous!” a third agreed. “I am loving that lamp!!”
