I’m a size 22 and did a huge beachwear haul from George at ASDA and they’re slaying it, the swimsuits are simply amazing | The Sun

A PLUS size woman has been left completely in awe with a swimsuit she picked up from George At ASDA.

Admitting that she spent a whopping £220 on a massive haul from the budget retailer, TikTok user @lux_island gushed over the brand “killing it” with their beachwear collection.

Posing in a green one-piece swimsuit with a straw beach hat on top, she held up a large white plastic bag as she told viewers: “I did a huge order – around £220… Something like that. Got an absolute mixture of swimwear, cover ups…

“They’re killing it right now, they are killing it. It's so affordable, which makes it even better.”

She then decided to try on some of the new clothes she bought, starting off with an “absolutely sensational green” swimsuit.

Coming closer to the camera to show off the material, she said it was crinkle cut and pulled at it slightly to demonstrate how stretchy it is.

“I’m a half size up to 22 because it does come a little bit small, but the 22 for me is perfect,” she continued.

“It’s got like a booby area as well. It was a stunning £16, so good.”

To give viewers an idea of what kind of outfit she would wear with the swimsuit, she tried on a pair of white cheesecloth shorts with a tie at the front.

“They’re amazing, they’re £12 mat, they’re also quite thick,” she went.

Despite not being double lined and slightly see-through, the woman said they’re very thick and perfect for the beach.

She also got a shirt to go for it, which also sold for £12. The shirt itself is stitched on either side, meaning it will be tighter once you button it up.

“I would simply just wear it open,” she said. “I like that it’s short sleeve. A lot of them are long sleeve. It’s definitely perfect for day time.”

She continued: “I think this full outfit is £40 for the shorts, the shirt and the swimsuit, which I think is really good.

“A lot of these crinkle cut swimsuits on the market are £50 up and with the cheesecloth set, again, you’re looking at £50 up. So for £40 for the full swimsuit, shorts and shirt is an absolute bargain.”

She then changed into a neon pink version of the same swimsuit.

Walking up the camera, she then showed how the one-piece has built-in cups, which “give you a nice boob shape”.

She tried the swimsuit on with the same shorts and shirt to give viewers an idea of what it looks like as an outfit.

“Get me on a plane,” she said. “It’s gorgeous, pink is my colour.”

“RUN for these swimsuits,” she wrote in the caption.

Viewers gushed over @lux_island as one person commented: “I’ve had 3 hauls from George for my hols and they are definitely slaying it,” with a heart emoji.

Another asked: “are the swimsuits low leg rather than high leg? High leg shows too much of my belly :(,” [sic] to which she responded: “Low leg babe!! I’m the exact same!! Perfect fit”. [sic]
