I’m plus-size & tried on jeggings from different supermarkets – from M&S to Tesco & Asda, who took the top spot? | The Sun

JEGGINGS are the go-to option for when you don't want the laid back look of leggings but don't want to feel uncomfortable in tight jeans.

But not all jeggings are created equal, as one fashion fan found out when she put five different pairs to the test.

Sharing the haul on her TikTok account (@lux_island) plus-size Elly tried on jeggings from Asda, Tesco, Marks and Spencer, Next and Matalan.

First up was a mid-wash blue pair from Next, which cost £28.

The fashionista was immediately impressed by how soft the material was.

She said: "[They] fitted all over, but too tight round the tummy."

Overall though, she didn't think they were worth the money, especially compared to some of the other options.

She tried on a £12.50 pair from George at Asda after that – unlike the Next jeggings this pair had a completely elastic waistband making them loads more comfortable.

Elly got a bargain from F&F at Tesco too, only paying £8 for the stretchy jeggings because they were half price.

But even at full price the jeggings would be worth every penny for Elly, who was amazed by the wardrobe staple.

Matalan's £15 push-up jeggings were next in the haul, but they were "a little stiff" at first.

That said, the ankles were the best fitting out of all the other Jeggings, Elly noted.

The fashion fan paid £17.50 for the Marks and Spencer jeggings and liked the snug fit, but found the ankles too loose for her taste.

Fellow fashion fans loved the haul and shared their favourite bargain jegging finds.

One commented: "I wear jeggings constantly and Matalan and Tesco are my faves.

"I find the colour last longer on the Matalan ones, especially the Indigo ones."

A second wrote: "I tried the M&S ones but thought the material was too thin and showed lumps everywhere, I'm a Matalan fan but will try Tesco now."

A third raved: "Tesco ones are my absolute fave!"

"Running to the George website, thank you again for being my stylist," another joked.
