I’m plus size & went clothes shopping on the high street – Primark’s dresses were bursting, but others got it right | The Sun

SHE wanted some fun and flirty new dresses for the summer.

But when one plus-sized woman hit the high street to look for some options, she had VERY mixed results in Primark and New Look.

Firstly, Bunti Martini tried Primark, and documented the experience in a video on her TikTok page.

"Sizing was pretty bad – barely anything past a size 16," the Welsh redhead noted of the store.

She tried on a size 18 dress first of all, but the buttons were bursting on her.

Next was an orange checked top and a pair of patterned flares, which were in a size 18-20, but appeared to be pretty tight on her curves.

She then hit New Look, adding that the store had a "much better selection for us plus size baddies".

A silky green leopard-print dress was first up, in a size 16, and clung to her figure in all the right places.

She tried another floral-print dress in a size 18 but unfortunately it "couldn't fit the boobs".

"Stunning print though," she smiled.

In the comments section, people were quick to weigh in on the sizing discrepancies in high street stores.

"Primark sizes are horrendous," one person wrote.

"It’s so hard to find clothes especially shirts that fit properly."

To which the woman replied: "frustrating isn't it."
