I’ve best hack ever to hide your stomach and give dresses more shape – it’s so easy and a game-changer | The Sun

A FASHION fan has found the perfect hack to give your dress more shape – and it's so easy.

Cara, who posts on TikTok as @carahogan_mua, shared her game-changing advice for hiding your stomach in dresses.

She said: "Best hack for all you little ladies that have a dress like this."

Cara explained that this style of dress does nothing for her around the stomach.

In the clip she wore a long satin dress with thin straps and a cowl neckline.

For the hack you need just two things – a piece of cardboard cut in a donut shape, and a hair bobble.

To start with, Cara turned the dress inside out and put it on back to front.

For the second step, the fashion fan put the piece of cardboard on the inside of the dress and placed it around where her belly button is.

She then scrunched the material around it, pulling the cardboard out and tying the bobble around it.

Cara added: "Because it's cardboard you'll be able to bend it."

She then showed her viewers what the dress should be looking like at this stage.

Her back-to-front frock is scrunched at her stomach and tied around the donut cardboard.

She said: "Now we're going to take it off, trying not to disturb this, and put it on right way round."

Then, showing the final look, the back of the dress now features an eye-catching design due to the donut addition.

Cara said: "How cute!"

The material at the back is pulled into a circle, and as a result the front of the dress appears more flattering.

FINAL RESULT

The final result hides your stomach and makes the dress hug your figure, taking away from its previously shapeless look.

As well as this, the dress is now slightly shorter, giving off midi-dress vibes.

Cara added: "I actually prefer the length it gives as well 'cause I'm quite short so I like to have things kind of midi."

Fashion fans raced to the comments to praise the clever hack.

One person said: "Omg that is so clever!!"
