Kate Middleton owns an array of beautiful jewellery, but there is one necklace Carole Middleton and Pippa Middleton have been seen wearing. According to royal fashion fans, the necklace belongs to the Princess of Wales and the blue topaz stone has several spiritual meanings.

The necklace in question is from Kiki McDonough, a brand Kate owns several pieces from.

The Eden Blue Topaz and Diamond Flower Necklace in white gold retails at £1,500.

The product description on the website reads: “The stunning Eden necklace features a Blue Topaz flower surrounded by pave set Diamonds in 18ct White Gold.

“This pretty necklace can be paired with the Eden flower gemstone earrings.”

The necklace features a large flower in the middle of the chain, and four smaller topaz gems on either side of the chain a litter higher up.

According to jewelrynotes.com, blue topaz is the “jewel of love and loyalty” and represents “eternal romance and friendship”.

“Gifts of topaz jewellery and gems may signal a wish for a committed romantic relationship or a strong appreciation of loyal friendship.”

The jewel also symbolises “honesty, clarity of feelings, and deep emotional attachment”.

Kate was first pictured wearing this necklace in July 2017 when she and Prince William visited Germany.

For the first day of their visit, she paired the necklace with a cornflower blue coat dress with a lace top underneath.

On her ears, she wore Kiki McDonough Blue Topaz and Diamond Drop Earrings which are priced at £3,500.

Then in April 2018, Pippa stepped out in London wearing the same necklace.

For her outing, she wore a baby blue coat over a black t-shirt and loose-fitting white pants. She finished off the look with round sunglasses, black sandals and a backpack slung over her shoulder.

A year later, Kate wore the necklace again when attending ANZAC Day Service in London.

Prince Harry accompanied his sister-in-law as Prince William had another event to attend and for the occasion, Kate wore a teal Catherine Walker coat dress.

She accessorised with an Emmy London clutch bag and a matching pair of shoes by the same brand.

The royal also chose to wear the large Kiki McDonough Blue Topaz and Diamond Drop Earrings again.

While Kate has worn the earrings a further six times, she hasn’t been seen wearing the necklace since.

Earlier this year, however, her mother, Carole, stepped out wearing it when attending day three of Wimbledon.

For the occasion, Carole wore a £150 Boden jumpsuit and a white denim jacket. She accessorised with a £395 pair of pale pink heels from The Fold and a cream leather bag from Osprey.

The necklace was the only piece of jewellery she wore that day.
