My favorite backyard kiddie pool hack is super easy to set up – I'll never blow up the inflatable kind again | The Sun

AFTER feeling the scorching sun for a few months, one toddler mom was ready to do something about it.

She bought the perfect kiddie pool that can be taken anywhere and takes seconds to set up.

TikToker and child safety advocate Dani Morin (@danimorin13) often shares her mom hacks to help other parents simplify their routines.

In one video, she wondered why no one had told her about the latest genius summer tip.

“I’m talking about using a dog pool as a backyard kiddie pool,” she said, while setting up shop in her backyard.

Unlike an inflatable pool, which either requires an electric pump or much time manually blowing it up, this one simply rolls out and stands up on its own.

Not only does this mean easy set up, but it also means easy clean up and transfer.

“Hear me out. It folds up like a little accordion, it’s super easy to store, you don’t have to blow anything up, it has an easy closure and opener to drain the water when you’re done.”

And on top of all that, it’ll probably last longer than those blow-up ones.

“It’s super durable because it is made for dogs,” Dani noted.

Thrilled with the find, she said she would never use any other kiddie pool again.

“However, a dog pool gets the job done and it’s super easy to put up and down, clean and store.”

Viewers praised the mom hack, with some saying it serves many purposes.

“In the summer it’s a pool. In the winter, it’s a ball pit. We use it for crafts to contain the mess, and take it on vacation as a travel bath tub,” one shared.

“We take ours to summer music festivals! The best, easy to pack,” added another.
