THERE are many different types of optical illusions out there, some are more like brain-teasers which put your mind to work.

But this clever illusion can reveal hidden aspects of your personality – it all depends on what you see first though.

The image shows a the profile of a man's face with slick, black hair on his head.

However, so eagle-eyes viewers didn't see the man first at all and instead spotted a small penguin.

So which did you see first?

According to Mila Yilin, who shared the illustration on TikTok, both images reveal something very different about your personality.

The man

If you saw the image of the man first you're probably very good at understand people and their needs.

"You've got a bit of a sixth sense, when it comes to people your intuition is off the charts and you can easily sense other people's emotions and intentions," Mia explained.

That said, you also end up doubting yourself when other people aren't constantly validating you and your work.

This causes you to "second guess your own instincts," Mia noted.

The penguin

People who spotted the penguin first are very independent people.

"You're an independent spirit who craves freedom and autonomy, Mia explained.

When you're given space to follow your interests and passions you truly thrive.

In fact, you might find yourself feeling held back if you're around too many people.

"Sometimes, you come across as a bit aloof or distant, but that's just because you prioritise your alone time," Mia added.
