THE QUEEN made a subtle but heartfelt nod to her husband, Prince Phillip, with her funeral arrangement.
As her coffin made the journey down The Mall to Westminster Hall, eagle-eyed viewers noted the final way she paid tribute to her husband of 73 years.
Hello! reports that the wreath on the Queen's coffin is made up of dahlias, phlox, white heather, pine fir, and sweet peas from Balmoral Castle.
Similarly, when Price Philip was laid to rest in Windsor last year, the wreath on top of his coffin also featured sweet peas, among other flowers selected by the Queen.
Reportedly, Prince Phillip's wreath also contained white lilies, white roses, white freesia, white wax flower and jasmine.
Sweet peas are said to have been one of the Queen's favourite flowers.

The flowers are "associated with the ideas of departures and goodbyes," Hello! reports.
The heartfelt nod to the couple's relationship is suitably subtle.
The wreath was laid upon the Queen's coffin along with the Royal Standard flag and the Imperial State Crown.
Elizabeth II will lay in state until the early morning of her funeral on Monday September 19.
