Shoppers are dashing to pick up a £20 winter essential scanning for £6 in Sainsbury’s | The Sun

NOW that rainy season is well and truly upon us, it’s high time to get a pair of wellies to see you through the winter.

A good pair of waterproof boots is a must for everything from drizzly dog walks to soggy park trips with the kids.

So thrifty shoppers are delighted to have found a gorgeous pair in Sainsbury’s reduced from £20 to a tiny £6.

The groovy wellies have a cream base adorned with a black floral pattern, and a thick rubber sole perfect for keeping your socks dry on even the most miserable of days.

The fab find was shared via a post in the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains, where it quickly racked up hundreds of likes and comments.

“They’re great,” one user commented.

“Nice wellies,” another added.

But one user had a rather unusual quibble about the shoes: namely that one is bigger than the other.

Helpful users quickly chimed in to offer their quick fixes for the unlikely issue.

“Wear two socks on the big one lol,” one wrote.

It’s not the only winter essential currently in stores that’s got users in a tizz.

One user in the Facebook group mentioned above shared that M&S once again have their popular festive biscuit tins.

The light-up Xmas boxes come in different shapes including a car and a gingerbread house, and once the treats have been enjoyed make perfect nightlights for little ones.

Discount store B&M have also massively reduced the price of their Disney princess fancy dress costumes from £12.99 to just £5 each.

The outfits are perfect for Halloween, or would make a fab Christmas present for a princess-obsessed youngster.
