A DESIGNER shopping outlet has been slammed by fashion fans for housing a mountain of rubbish bags.
Swindon Designer Outlet is home to the likes of Ted Baker and Ralph Lauren but shoppers blasted an eyesore pile of rubbish leaning against the side of the building.
According to one local, the pile of discarded designer goods, food and general waste “gets worse each day”.
“No bin collection in almost two weeks, it gets worse each day,” they told the Swindon Advertiser.
"They have started to barricade the rubbish and even buy skips due to there being no collection of the bins, it is just piling up."
The McArthurGlen Designer Outlet has over 90 designer stores, including Calvin Klein, Kurt Geiger and Guess.

There’s also Levi’s, Tommy Hilfiger, Fossil and Hobbs.
Equally contributing to the waste pile is the Outlet’s eateries, such as KFC, Pizza Express and Five Guys.
Greased KFC buckets and cups can be seen inside the pile of rubbish bags.
Shoppers have moaned that while the rubbish pile isn’t visible from two of the main entrances, it can be seen while strolling around the wider area of the shopping centre.

One pointed out that the rubbish is piled near the Outlet’s food hall and now fears it will attract rats and other wildlife.
Another disgruntled shopper referred to the area as “Swindump”.
Staff at the shopping centre confirmed that the waste has now been cleared.
A spokesperson for McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Swindon told The Sun: “We experienced a delay with the third-party waste company weekly collection.
"This resulted in a build-up in the Outlet’s service area over the weekend.
"In order to minimise disruption, we hired a skip and are pleased to confirm that all rubbish has now been collected.”
Last month, Elon Musk’s Tesla applied for permission to install 36 electric car chargers in the Outlet’s car park.
