Amazon The Drop: What is The Drop and which products should you buy? | The Sun

FROM launches selling out in minutes to high-profile influencer collaborations, Amazon's in-house label The Drop has been generating some serious buzz ever since it launched in 2019.

We've delved into all there is to know about the limited-edition brand, and rounded up the best items from its permanent "staples" line that should be on your wishlist right now.

What is The Drop?

Amazon's The Drop partners with international trendsetters to design "of-the-moment, limited-edition collections" that are live for 30 hours or less. Fabrics are limited, so the pieces are made on demand which results in less waste. Big win.

As well as The Drop's limited collections, it also offers a line of wear-on-repeat pieces called Staples that are available to shop anytime.

Which influencers have done collections with the Drop?

LA-based Paola Alberdi was the first influencer to release a collection for The Drop, and she's since been followed by the likes of:

  • Leonie Hanne
  • Sierra Furtado
  • Patricia Bright
  • Charlotte Groeneveld
  • Charlotte Bridgeman
  • Milena Karl
  • Logan Rae Hill
  • Tanya Marie
  • Daiquan
  • Katie Sturino

How long are The Drop's collections available for?

Each Drop is available for just 30 hours – or even less, if it sells out before the allotted time. Some collections have reportedly sold out in a matter of minutes, so it's definitely a case of having to act fast when you know a launch is coming.

The best way to know about a collection in advance is to sign up for The Drop's text message alerts or email notifications, which you can do on its homepage.
