Simone Biles's Cropped Hoodie Is a Tribute to Her Fiancé at His Game

Simone Biles could teach any partner of a professional athlete a thing or two about dressing to show support. The 25-year-old Olympic gymnast has dedicated a whole section of her wardrobe to Houston Texans apparel, customized with fiancé Jonathan Owens’s name and number.

Her latest look is a cropped red hoodie that says “Owens” across the front in white block letters and embellished with round crystals on the sleeves. Biles teamed the design with ripped skinny jeans and white Nike sneakers for Sunday football, attending the Texans’ game against the Bears in Chicago, IL. She shared an up-close glimpse of her accessories — black aviator sunglasses, her engagement ring, a couple of additional silver bands, and thin, silver hoop earrings — in a series of selfies posted to her Instagram Stories. “shots for breakfast send help,” she wrote, informing her fans of the day’s agenda. Biles, who opted for a natural, minimalist beauty look with her hair down straight, along with a milky white manicure, was more than prepared to cheer on her soon-to-be husband.

It’s not the first time she’s shown off her outfits for various NFL events. Biles kicked off the season in a black onesie and shortly thereafter shared a sneak peek of herself in the Texans cheerleader uniform. On Aug. 14, she revealed a blue tie-dye tank top with “36” splashed across the front, Owens’s jersey number.

This September, Biles also posted snaps from a DIY project in which she decorated clear PVC pouches with “Owens” and “36,” making for the perfect personalized travel bags. But her silky, 2000s-inspired halter with glittery red embroidery, shared on Sept. 12 and styled with white denim cutoffs and coordinated sneakers, is likely most memorable.

Ahead, see a few more angles of Biles’s sweatshirt, and watch her feed to see which outfit tribute she posts next.
