The View hosts are 'fully-Botoxed' and spend $30,000-a-year on injections, but a single host is 'clean,' says surgeon | The Sun

THERE'S only one co-host on The View who hasn’t succumbed to Botox, a plastic surgeon has suggested.

And he thinks that while Sara Haines has opted for “lighter treatments," the others spend could be spending thousands on wrinkle-busting injections every year.

The six influential talk show panelists often discuss the topic of aging during the hit daytime show – especially when linking celebrities to specific surgery.

On February 10 for example, Joy Behar and Alyssa Farah Griffin discussed Madonna's face – following the pop icon's appearance on stage at the Grammys, where she presented an award.

The two women discussed her "unrecognizable" looks, with Joy claiming Madonna should come clean about her "surgery."

She said: "[Madonna] should say, 'I've had some work done. This is what I like to look like,' – that's it."

Meanwhile, Alyssa claimed on her salary, she wouldn't be able to afford to go under the knife without saving up, unlike Madonna.

Sara Haines, meanwhile, shared her thoughts on aging in an Instagram post in December – and one that Alyssa also reshared.

“Wrinkles mean you laughed, grey hairs mean you cared, and scars mean you lived," she wrote. “Aging is beautiful.”

But analyzing the team's videos, plastic surgeon Dr. Richard Westreich said he believes they're the ones who've had anti-aging 'help' themselves.

In an exclusive interview, he told The U.S. Sun: “I think most of them are basically fully Botoxed.

“With the exception of maybe Sarah Haines who may have had all the areas done, but in a lighter way because she still has some movement.

“Honestly, at this point, I don't feel like there's a single person in America who hasn’t had or tried Botox. There’s just no point in pretending anymore.

"The only exception is Whoopi Goldberg, who probably hasn't had any.

“I’m looking at Whoopi on a video, and I don't really see any movement restrictions on her face.

“That's different from the other presenters and so I think she's the only clean one.

“The presenters who have had heavier Botox and getting 50 units could be $1,200 a time.

“If you're getting lighter Botox from that same person, that's going to be $500.

“So Sarah’s probably only spending $3,000 a year.

“The others who are getting 50 units are probably spending more like $6,000 per year.

“The total the five on the panel would be spending on Botox would be around $30,000 per year and Whoopi would be at zero.”

The View was initially created by the legendary Barbara Walters and while its roster of co-hosts appears to change regularly, its lively debate-style format is consistent.

Despite the presenters' widely different ages and looks, most of the co-hosts also appear to have mastered the art of appearing smooth-skinned and youthful on set.

And while many View fans across the country hang off their favorite co-host's every word, they might not always be transparent about how they press pause on aging.

A TOTAL JOY

American comedian, actor, and author Joy Behar is the only remaining original panelist on The View who started with the program in 1997.

The mom of one has a net worth of $12 million and admitted in an interview with The New York Times to taking Botox injections every several months to minimize facial lines and wrinkles.

“Joy Behar has had all those three areas that are typically done, but I think that she's had the maximum," says Dr. Westreich.

“I think Joy is fully Botoxed which means having a lot of units, like the 50-60.

“Older people tend to get more Botox since they have more wrinkles and they are fine without moving if it means they are smooth.

“Joy has done pretty much everything.”

WHOOPI'S MOVEMENTS

Comedian and presenter Whoopi Goldberg, 67 is also a longstanding panel member and joined the show in 2007.

And with a net worth of an estimated $60 million, she appears to be the most relaxed about her looks and aging.

In fact, in a December 2022 interview with the Sunday Times, she said: "I don't have to worry about it."

She added: "My stuff's going to sag and fall and I will be fine."

“I’m looking at Whoopi on a video, and I don't really see any movement restriction, “ says Dr. Westreich.

“That's different but for Whoopi, because she’s an actress and a comedian, retaining facial expression is likely very important to her still being funny.

“She doesn't have a whole lot of resting wrinkles which is more common in people with darker skin tones since their skin tends to have less sun damage and look more youthful longer."

ANA MAKES A WISH

Journalist Ana Navarro, 51, on the other hand, has been known to use a product called Daxxify, which she confirmed online after becoming a co-host in August 2022.

The Nicaragua-born native posted on Instagram in March: "I get @daxxify on my forehead and I’m on my second treatment of something called Morpheus.

"Best I understand it, it’s needling and high-frequency heat to promote collagen production and tighten skin.”

“You’re not going to have Daxify unless you're a Botox connoisseur, “ explains Dr. Westreich.

“This is a longer-acting Botox and so you're never going to get the Botox that lasts longer unless you've had botox before, and had wished that it last longer.

“This would not have been Ana’s first Botox.”

SOLID SUNNY

Lawyer and Journalist Sunny Hostin joined the panel in 2016 and has been fairly open about her experiences with cosmetic surgery.

The 54-year-old co-host told People magazine that she underwent a breast reduction in August 2022 and turned her G-cup breasts into C-cups.

She also revealed that she got liposuction on her waist and chin.

She said: “I wanted to be really honest. And I’m so happy.”

“I think Sunny has definitely had her forehead Botoxed and she's had it done heavier than Sarah," says Dr. Westriech.

“Sunny has also had brow botox and the frown lines are done, so she's also similar to Joy.”

SLIGHTLY SARA

Presenter Sara Haines, 43 joined The View in 2016 and as one of the youngest members of the panel first started working for ABC in 2013.

“Sara Haines has definitely had some forehead Botox and I think she's done the usual.

“She has had injections to the forehead, the frown, and the crow's feet but she has had less than the other co-hosts,” says Dr. Westreich.

“It definitely looks like she's had Botox, but I don't think it's too heavy.”

ALYSSA'S IN ON IT ALL

Alyssa Farah Griffin, 33 is the former press secretary for Mike Pence and White House director of strategic communications for the Trump administration.

She joined The View in August 2022, replacing Meghan McCain.

“Alyssa looks quite smooth, but she’s younger than most of the others,” reveals Dr. Westreich.

“I'm not seeing her moving her forehead at all in any of the videos I reviewed either.

“She might have just had a forehead but actually, I think looking closer, Alyssa is fully Botoxed and just like the other five as well.”
