NO MATTER WHAT you do, it seems there's always something going off in the fridge.

But one woman has found a clever way to make sure she uses all of her food before its use by date and it helps keep her fridge clean and organised.


Taking to the Facebook group, Extreme couponing and bargains UK, the woman shared her clever discovery.

The woman was fed up with wasting food that had gone out of date in the fridge and decided to download the app Fridgley.

She wrote: "I’ve started keeping track of useby dates in my fridge by using this free Fridgley app.

"Alerts me when something in my fridge is about to expire and suggests recipes.

"Helping me cut down on waste. Might help. You can also use this for nonchilled food and frozen too!"

In the comments section of the post, the woman explained that you scan the barcodes into the app while you put your shopping away so it can track the expiration dates for you.

It also gives suggestions on recipes you can make with the soon-to-be gone-off items with other items in your shop, and it's totally free.

The woman shared some pictures of the app at work and viewers of the post were left stunned by the easy solution.
