EastEnders star Natalie Cassidy’s daughter’s incredible 6th birthday party with magician

EastEnders icon Natalie Cassidy celebrated her daughter Joanie’s sixth birthday earlier this week by throwing her a fun-filled rainbow themed party.

The 39 year old,who is best known for playing Sonia Fowler on the popular BBC One soap, took to Instagram to document her little one’s big day and gushed over the party, which went down a treat with the youngster.

Sharing a series of snaps with her 178,000 Instagram followers, the soap star wrote: “Our gorgeous Joanie had the best 6th birthday ever! Celebrated with nearest and dearest, she loved the whole day.

“Where does the time go? I can’t believe she is 6 and getting funnier by the minute,” before thanking a series of small businesses who helped put together the party.

In the snaps, Natalie revealed that Joanie had celebrated turning six with a lavish rainbow themed party which featured a series of multicoloured bellows and rainbow decorations.

In one photo, the mum-of-two showed off some party bags that had been made for the event which featured various coloured sweets which encouraged guests to “always look for rainbows”.

Elsewhere, the little one could be seen blowing out the candles of her mouthwatering two-tier birthday cake which was decorated with vanilla buttercream, melted chocolate and a selection of muffins, chocolate bars and cookies.

Meanwhile the group of partygoers were kept entertained by a magician called Mr Beldinni, with birthday girl Joanie getting to be his assistant for the day.

Mr Beldinni evidently went down well with the guests, with Natalie writing on Instagram: “@mr_belldini was absolutely fantastic from beginning to end! I think the adults were entertained just as much as the kids!”

TV starNatalie also shared a rare snap with her fiancé Marc Humphries as they posed in front of a rainbow balloon arch alongside Joanie.

Natalie and cameraman Marc first started dating in 2014 and got engaged a year later. In 2016, the pair welcomed Joanie into the world.

The soap actress is also mum to Eliza, 11, who she shares with ex boyfriend Adam Cottrell.

Earlier this year, Eliza appeared on Junior Bake Off where she put her baking skills to the test on the Channel 4 show.

Speaking of her daughter’s achievement,Natalie revealed how the death of her father had inspired Eliza to take part in the competition.

“My Dad knew she'd got through for round one, round two and round three, and then my Dad passed away,” she told theRy-Union podcast with Rylan.

“And on the Saturday he died, on the Wednesday, she had to do her final audition, bake a great big cake, do interviews, and I said, 'Eliza, are you sure you up for this?', because he lived with us – very, very close – and she said 'I've got to do it for grandad', and she had his little photo there, baked the cake, spoke about him and was brilliant because it gave her something to do for the rest of the summer.”
