I won the lottery and it changed my life – but the first two things I’m buying aren’t for me | The Sun

A LUCKY punter who scooped a life-changing jackpot has revealed what he will buy first – and it's not for himself.

Myke Brookes, from Pensett, Dudley, had given up entering the Postcode Lottery when his dad became ill and every penny had to be saved.

The dad-of-two fell on hard times when he became his father's carer – after having recently lost his step-mum Kelly to cancer.

But by chance, Myke decided to enter the eye-watering draw just three weeks ago, after seeing a butterfly that reminded him of Kelly.

He told Coventry Live: "She loved butterflies and whenever I see one, I say, ‘Hi Kel’.

"And a few times I’ve looked at one and I’ve just said, ‘Kelly, help me in any way you can, help me'."
