A bloke who splashed out £20,000 on horror inspired tattoos opened up about the most painful area of his body to get inked.

Caleb Hendrickson has most of his skin covered but he said there was one area that stood out for being excruciatingly sore – and it’s the top of his head.

The Uber driver, from Texas, compared it to being hurt with razor blades and sandpaper. Speaking with the Daily Star, he said: “My head tattoos were bad because there’s not too much skin and it just sucks.

“It was the worst, specifically the left side of my head, it was like each time being rubbed with hot sandpaper… super sore. I can’t really compare it to anything, it’s kinda like nicking yourself with a razor blade so many times.

“I have a peony, a rose and script at the back of my head, anime on the top of my head and a fox head on the right side. Overall I guess it took maybe 15-20 hours in total and I don’t really use breaks.”

And as for whether he would have his head worked on again, he laughed: “F*** no.”

In part one of our interview with Caleb, 30, he showed how unrecognisable he looked before his tattoo transformation. His love for body art was formed after admiring his father’s sleeves when he was younger.

He got his first one at the age of 16 and he said he now despises looking at throwback snaps of himself. He added: “I do have old photos I will show you but I can’t stand looking at my old self.

“I wasn’t in control of my own fate and now I am in a sense. It’s hard to depict really. I’m very happy with the outcome.”

Despite being satisfied with his makeover, his family are not so pleased – and he said his loved ones “hate how far” he has gone.

And other people who have been far from impressed are potential employers. He explained: “I have been discriminated against when I’ve been trying to get certain jobs. They simply just ended the interview.”

But fortunately for Caleb, he has been an Uber driver for two years and his customers often praise him for his bold ink choices.

Caleb, who also has dermal piercings and gauged ears, is obsessed with horror and his tattoo designs include skulls, eyeball tentacle monsters, creepy crawlers, eyeballs and teeth.

And speaking about his devotion to body modifications and tattoos, he concluded: “I don’t have a clue of how many I have but I got face tattoos when I was a piercer apprentice and I wanted to be enthralled in the lifestyle. But I later had a seizure and decided to get my face worked over because most of my face tattoos were merely a rebellious phase.

“But the best thing (about his look now) is I feel more like me. And my message to people that tell other people not to get tattoos is to stay in your lane.”
